Three lines: work made to commission, games to book, and a tool to use.
Luxmin designs, builds and runs interactive experiences for museums, brands and events.
- Lead planning
- Technical direction
- Experience design
Any one of them, or the whole project.
Each one is made for its place and its client, and goes through the same seven stages, from the first layout drawing to the record it closes on. Design, software, hardware, installation and remote operations are done by the same team.
Start from the room you have
Four kinds of room we work in. Point at one to see what we did there.
ROLL6 is where Luxmin makes games.
It is competitive socializing: a group comes to play against each other, and the game is what they came for. A room full of people play at once, in teams or head to head, and the score is on the wall for everyone to see. A session runs like a show, one round after another, with a running total, team battles, knockouts and a final duel between the last two. Of its 29 games, 26 are played with the body, not answered: players shake, swing, point, tilt and shout.
How it is played depends on the place. At an event it is one big screen and the guests' own phones, for up to 100 players, with no app to download. In a permanent space the game is projected on the walls and the floor and played with the body, on one surface or on all of them.
One drawing carries a project from site survey to install.
Venue, equipment, visitor flow and cabling sit on the same layout; change the layout and the equipment list and cable list change with it. Misea began as Luxmin's internal tool and is now open to anyone, free and without sign-up.
