Immersive animations often go unnoticed, which is why we now prioritize user experience in everything we create. While entrepreneurship presents many challenges, taking that first step is both the most crucial and challenging part. Without taking that initial leap, you’ll never discover what comes next.

The First Leap is Easier Than You Imagine Did you participate in the Chrome Dinosaur game event recently held on the tenth floor of Siwan? We invited the LUXMIN team for an interview to share their entrepreneurial journey with students – from late-night development sessions to unexpected twists, offering insights into the startup experience for those interested in pursuing this path.

It All Started from Pure Interest,” explains Hsien-Chang. He and his department classmate realized their technological expertise could complement Wei-Chieh’s field of focus, leading them to form a team and submit a proposal to S!Lab. Currently, one member is pursuing doctoral studies and has temporarily stepped away from the team.

Luxmin combines “Luxmin” (light) with “UX” (user experience). The team, consisting of Hou Hsien-Chang and Weng Wei-Chieh, specializes in projection mapping, light effects, and interactive technologies. Their partnership began in high school science class, forming what they jokingly call a “fateful connection.” Years of collaboration and mutual feedback have created a unique synergy between them. Currently, Hsien-Chang is pursuing a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at National Sun Yat-sen University, while Wei-Chieh has entered the professional world. They leverage their complementary strengths, with one focusing on technical development and the other on marketing initiatives.
